Ramon Egger, 32, is the new Jury member from Switzerland, representing ‘Automobil Revue’, the Swiss publication sitting in Car of the Year Organizing Committee.
Educated as automotive engineer in Bern University, Ramon worked as trainee in Porsche Zentrum Zurich before steering into motoring journalism. He entered Automobil Revue in 2012 as Online Editor, and kept his engineering activity, developing the braking system for a Formula Student electric vehicle.
In 2015, he took new responsibilities in AR Tests & Technics, acting as deputy Editor-in-chief and project manager for digital Katalog der Automobil Revue. Currently Ramon is Editor-in-chief for Automobil Revue and editor for Test & Technics content, caring for planning and coordination of the magazine.
