Last act before the final vote for Car of the Year 2018. Jury members tested the finalists for the award just two weeks before the announcement of the winner in the eve of Geneva International Motor Show.

The CERAM facilities near Paris gathered again the nominees for the 2018 award, seven protagonists from a long list of 37 candidates: Alfa Romeo Stelvio, Audi A8, BMW 5-series, Citroën C3 Aircross, Kia Stinger, Seat Ibiza and Volvo XC40. Several versions of each model allowed to drive and compare cars in the proving track and surrounding roads of Mortefontaine. And the teams of seven manufacturers came to explain and detail the strong points and advantages of their products. To be part of this select group is an achievement in itself, and this time they covered seven different segments or sub-segments, from affordable to elitist models; what emphasizes the uncertainty of the result.

Now it’s time for the 60 Jury members from 23 European countries to decide the single winner. Each juror will apportion 25 points among at least five nominees, and will also provide a written explanation of his/her decision, what will be shown in the voting grid of this site. The winner will be announced in Geneva’s Palexpo in the afternoon of 5 March 2018.
