Audi Q6 e-tron

04/11/2024 - Car of The year

The first "real" novelty of the manufacturer since 2021, delayed by almost two years, the Audi Q6 e-tron was to be the first model to debut the Volkswagen Group's new PPE technical platform. However, with its 800V architecture, the electric SUV is not lagging behind technologically.

The look and dimensions of the Audi Q6 e-tron

Audi has found the right mix between tradition and modernity. There is no doubt that the Q6 e-tron is indeed a model with the four rings. The manufacturer's aesthetic codes are still quite remarkable, as evidenced by the Singleframe grille. With its affiliation to the electric range, the SUV has taken the liberty of taking some styling elements from the electric sports car e-tron GT such as the light strip at the rear. This is a point that the designers have emphasized, since eight designs are available for the matrix lights at the front and the rear headlights integrating six OLED panels. 4.77 m long, 1.94 m wide and 1.69 m high, the Q6 e-tron is thus inserted between the Q4 e-tron and the Q8 e-tron.

In the era of time, the interior of the Q6 e-tron gives pride of place to screens, three of which are present when you opt for the panel in front of the front passenger. As standard, the Q6 e-tron comes with an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.5-inch diagonal touchscreen that is slightly oriented towards the driver. Thanks to its wheelbase of 2.89 m, the electric SUV comfortably accommodates its passengers in the rear in a neat finish. In terms of trunk space, the Q6 e-tron claims 526 dm3.
