Milan Jozif’s passing

23/08/2018 - Car of The year

Our Czech colleague Milan Jozif recently died at the age of 82 after a very long illness. Milan was an outstanding journalist, punished in the aftermath of the ‘Prague spring’ just for telling the truth. As a motoring writer, he was the editor of ‘Automobil’ revue, and in 1991 he was appointed Jury member of Car of the Year award, the first one representing his country. He served as an enthusiast juror until 2000, when Tomas Hyan succeeded him in his position in the publication and the Jury. May he rest in peace.
