Mortefontaine test 2017

Car of The year
Alfa Romeo Giulia, Citroën C3, Mercedes-Benz E-class, Nissan Micra, Peugeot 3008, Toyota C-HR and Volvo S90/V90 have been the protagonists in the driving event held in Mortefontaine facilities and adjacent roads.

The seven nominees for Car of the Year 2017 award had been selected in a first vote of the Jury from a list of 30 candidates. The event gathering 40 test cars in the proving grounds of UTAC CERAM -one official CotY partner- a few days before the final vote, also recorded the presence of several executives and engineers of the manufacturers. The occasion included again the annual General Assembly of the Jury, with 51 members attending.

It is time now for the final vote, with the 58 Jury members from 22 European countries deciding and explaining their preferences. Each juror will spread 25 points among at least five nominees, with a maximum of 10 points for their top selections. The announcement of CotY 2017 winner will take place in Geneva’s Palexpo in the afternoon of the eve of Geneva International Motor Show press days, on March 6th.
