Ending a period with some empty spots in its model line, Peugeot comes up with a crossover of a hatchback and a mid-size MPV that shares new looks and many parts wit the 5008. The 3008 is the most original Peugeot in years, mixing shapes and features usually related to hatchbacks and SUVs, such as the tall seating or the split tailgate. Interior has functionality, but also lots of light from the panoramic roof, and a sporty cockpit that appeals drivers. Instead of a 4WD version, a refined Grip Control system may cope with incursions to loose surfaces. As well as economical petrol and diesel engines, Peugeot plans a diesel-electric hybrid version.
